The Mazarites are a humanoid species native to the planet Mazar. They are technologically comparable to Humanity and have relations with Vulcan.

Mazarites are distinguished by two folded skin flaps on the sides of their faces that run from their eyebrows and surround their ears and under their temples. Mazarites also have dark hair with streaks of white hair swept back from the temples, along the sides.
Mazarites were technologically comparable to the humans of Earth. Their ships were only a little faster than the newest Starfleet ships. They had developed deflector shields and communications-jamming technology and maintained a small Fleet of their own. The Mazarite government has been infiltrated by criminal enterprise, seemingly at every level, which is being investigated by the Vulcans. The Vulcan agents who helped build and staff the Pathfinder (NX-XX) brought in a cell of Mazarite allies to assist.
